My new sitcom

20 Jan

I haven’t posted in forever, so here’s something stupid to get me started for 2013:

Last night I dreamt a pitch for an 80s style sitcom, “Bonnie and Zombie” about two roommates trying to make it in the big city.  She’s a young professional, and he’s a flesh eating undead monster.

INTERIOR – KITCHEN – DAY

Bonnie is standing at the pantry when Zombie comes in from the bedroom.

BONNIE

Did you eat the last of my peanut butter?

ZOMBIE

I don’t eat peanut butter.  Just human flesh.

(Laugh track)

BONNIE

Well, I certainly didn’t eat it.  How about that girl you brought home last night?

ZOMBIE

Come to think of it, her brain did taste a bit like peanut butter.

(laugh track)
